Homeschool Meet Up

Friday, May 10 from 3 to 5 p.m.; for students and their families
The Library welcomes homeschooling families to use our space for gathering, studying, project collaboration, and more!

Canning with AgriLife Extension

Saturday, May 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; for ages 18+
Join Ginger Benson, Galveston County Extension Agent for Family & Community Health, as she shares the how-tos of home canning, including the science, safety, equipment, and steps used to can food.

Saturday Creation

Saturday, May 11 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; for all ages
Join us as we create beautiful things. No art experience required, and sometimes we will get our hands messy.

Cartoon Craze

Monday, May 13 from 2 to 3 p.m.; for ages 5 to 11
Toon into an afternoon of animated fun! (On May 13, the cartoon will be Fairly Odd Parents.)

Storywalk

Week of May 13, Monday through Sunday; for ages 3 to 8; on front lawn
Walk outdoors and read a children's book to your children. A small prize will be available in the children's section of the library when the reading is completed!

Medicare with Shari Ferguson

Tuesday, May 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; for ages 18+
Your health is your most important asset. Be sure you have the coverage you need and want ahead of time. Medicare Explained seminars are strictly educational and not sales events. We do not discuss individual carrier plans but try and address different options and features that best meet your needs.

Anime Club Sr.

Thursday, May 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; for ages 18+
Are you looking to meet other adult fans of anime? Or maybe you just want to chill and have some snacks and do some crafts while watching anime. Come join us at the anime club for adults! The anime for May will be Kill la Kill.
