Secretary-General of ASEAN attends luncheon hosted by Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, participated in a luncheon hosted by Ambassador of Japan to ASEAN, Kiya Masahiko, at the Ambassador's residence. They exchanged views on ASEAN-Japan relations, including the follow-up to the outcomes of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation and the Commemorative Summit held in Tokyo in December 2023. They also discussed about the preparation for the upcoming 2024 Meeting of the OECD Council at Ministerial Level (MCM) to be held early next month in Paris, France, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Japan and the OECD Secretary-General, as well as the working visit by SG Dr. Kao to Japan in May 2024.
