The NJIT baseball team clinched its second-straight series victory on Saturday, as the Highlanders dominated their way to a 10-2 victory at Yogi Berra Stadium.

The Highlanders (10-15, 3-2 America East) put together one of their most complete games of the season as the offense tallied 12 hits, the pitching allowed just two runs, and the defense didn't commit an error.

NJIT found itself down 1-0 for the second-straight game and just as they did in Friday's 4-3 win over the Riverhawks (8-15, 1-3 America East), the Highlanders rallied, this time with a five-run fifth inning.

After four scoreless innings, captain got the Highlanders on the board in the fifth, putting the ball in play with the infield back to score . One batter later, put the Highlanders in front with a single up the middle and provided the big blow of the inning with a two-run double off the top of the wall in left field.

After UML made it 5-2 in the sixth, NJIT broke the game open with three runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth.
