Intermittent Lane Closures Expected April 8-12 Near Exit 13 on SR 400
Work on the Lake Lanier Return Flow System continues!
Crews will be conducting fieldwork at two locations along the project route the week of April 8-12 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.
Expect brief, intermittent lane closures and delays as work occurs at the following locations:
-
Between the travel lanes of SR 400 just south of SR 141 (Peachtree Parkway)
-
Pendley Road, east of SR 400
What fieldwork are the crews doing? Crews will be performing soil boring, also called geotechnical boring, which is a technique used to investigate and determine soil composition and conditions at a site where construction is planned.
The completed Return Flow System will convey highly treated water from the Fowler Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) to Lake Lanier. Learn more about the Lake Lanier Return Flow System.
