John Mayer Extends Solo Tour, Duets with Sheryl Crow

John Mayer fans, mark your calendars and get ready to experience a truly unforgettable evening of music. John has decided to stay on the road this year, adding a new leg to his groundbreaking solo acoustic tour.

The talented trailblazer just announced 17 new fall dates across the U.S. It all kicks off with an encore performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 3, running through November when the fall tour wraps with an added show at the iconic Kia Forum in Los Angeles. He also promised U.K. and Europe dates would be coming soon.

The tour promises to feature more solo performances by Mayer that lean heavily on his acoustic guitar work with special performances on piano and electric guitar. Fans can expect rare, full acoustic sets from John Mayer performing massive hits like "Gravity," "Daughters," "Waiting on the World to Change," and "Your Body Is a Wonderland." And that's not all - multi-platinum GRAMMY® nominated singer-songwriter JP Saxe will open the fall concerts.

Last Friday night (March 24) at the Nashville stop of his tour's spring run, John temporarily broke away from the "solo" part of his tour name to invite fellow musician Sheryl Crow on stage with him for a duet. The two guitarists started out with an instrumental performance of Blind Faith's "Can't Find My Way Home," followed by singing Sheryl's 1993 hit "Strong Enough" together.

Tickets for the fall leg go on sale starting March 31 at 9am local time. Presales start March 29 at 9am local time and run through March 30 at 10pm. Learn more at JohnMayer.com.
