Deputy National Defence Minister Nikolaos Hardalias visits the Northern Greece Naval Station, the Service Support Division (MERYP), and the American Section of "Atlantic Resolve" Operation in Thessalloniki

On Friday, 18 November 2022, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Nikolaos Ηardalias, visited the Service Support Division and the Naval Station of Northern Greece headquarters, in Thessaloniki.

Mr. Hardalias was informed by the Service Support Division Commander Major General Dimitrios Boulomitis and the Naval Station of Northern Greece Captain Parisis Kanoutos HN of their organisation, mission and current activities. In the context of the visits, Mr. Hardalias talked with the members and toured the facilities of the Formation and the Naval Station.

He also met with the head and the members of the American Detachment hosted at the Service Support Division headquarters, in the context of the "Atlantic Resolve" Operation, having as a mission the reception of the personnel and equipment of the United States of America to arrive in Thessaloniki and the provision of support for their further movement in European locations.

During the visit at the Service Support Division, the Deputy Minister of National Defence was accompanied by HAGS/Chief Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis.
