Delegation of diplomatic envoys visit Suzhou

A delegation of diplomatic envoys from 28 countries and international organizations visited Suzhou on Mar. 25 and 26. The activity was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. And Suzhou was the first stop of the delegation's trip to Jiangsu Province from Mar. 25 to 28.

The delegation first went to the Suzhou Revolution Museum where they watched an exhibition titled "Suzhou Practice under the Guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era". The exhibition featured 300-plus pictures, 150-plus concrete objects and 50-plus videos, fully displaying the remarkable achievements Suzhou has made in its economic and social development since the 18th CPC National Congress.

Later, the envoys paid visits to Shantang Street, the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Suzhou Museum, experiencing the unique charm of Jiangnan culture. "I see so many changes from my first visit five years ago. And it is an amazing pace of development. I hope very much that we will spend more time in Suzhou," said Selim Belortaja, ambassador of Albania.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). The delegation went to the Suzhou Industrial Park Exhibition Center to learn more about the eye-catching achievements SIP has made over the past 30 years during which it has changed from a paddy field to a high-tech park. The envoys also visited Higer Bus Co., Ltd. and Shareate Tools Co., Ltd. to experience the innovative technologies in intelligent manufacturing.
