Discovery Days!

There's a new theme every day, from Simple Sciences Arts & Crafts to a Lego & Duplo Block Party, making edible flowers, communing with nature, and sculpting and painting with paper mâché.

Storytime

Daily storytimes are offered at Brookwood Library, and Tuesday through Sunday at Shute Park Library. Storytimes are interactive, inclusive, and offered in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Adventure Pass Experiences

Get free admission for you and a guest to a dozen different destinations across the region. Use your library card to reserve a pass online. PLUS: the Oregon State Park pass is good at any of the 25 Oregon State Parks that require an entry fee.

Play Bocce

The Library of Things has all kinds of THINGS to checkout, like a Bocce set. Play at home or head to one of Hillsboro's public bocce courts at Cornell Creek Park or Tamarack Park.

While visiting Brookwood Library, take a walk around the pond behind the building. The pond is teaming with life. See if you can spot the big orange koi.
