LADWP Encourages Everyone to Please Recreate Responsibly Around Water Ways!
CROWLEY LAKE, CA (April 19, 2024) - Water level conditions at Long Valley Reservoir (Crowley Lake) will be above average for this year's April 27 fish opener.
The 2023 historic snowpack and subsequent extreme runoff brought a lot of water to the Eastern Sierra region resulting in full reservoirs, including Crowley Lake. LADWP Aqueduct personnel continue to manage last year's runoff and plan to release water at the end of this month to accommodate for the expected additional spring runoff.
LADWP is working closely with the Crowley Lake Fish Camp to inform the public as much as possible about waterway conditions. We ask the public to please stay informed and know before you go!
