HKU and CUHK to hold Vice-Chancellor’s Cup Soccer Match

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) will hold the 17th Vice-Chancellor's Cup Soccer Match on 19 May (Sunday) at the Stanley Ho Sports Centre.

Professor Ian Holliday, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning) of HKU, and Professor Anthony Chan T.C., Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Alumni Relations & Advancement) of CUHK, will officiate at the kick-off ceremony.

The event, which began in 2003 as a commemoration of the universities' collaboration during the SARS outbreak, has since become a yearly tradition aimed at fostering friendship between the two universities.
