“We are planning to build 183,000 residences and 15,000 village houses in Hatay”

Delivering remarks following his inspections in the quake-hit Kırıkhan district of Hatay, President Erdoğan said: "Although it will become clear following the damage assessment works, we are planning to build 183,000 residences and 15,000 village houses in Hatay under the current situation. The number of the residences we will build in Kırıkhan is 15,785. The number of the residences and village houses we will build across the region approximates 650 thousand."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli visited the quake-hit Kırıkhan district of Hatay.

Underscoring that the necessary preparations for the construction of new houses in the region were being carried out rapidly, President Erdoğan said: "Although it will become clear following the damage assessment works, we are planning to build 183,000 residences and 15,000 village houses in Hatay under the current situation.
