The caretaker government with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev took oath before the 49th National Assembly At an extraordinary sitting of Parliament, the Prime Minister and the caretaker ministers solemnly swore in the name of the Republic of Bulgaria to respect the Constitution and the laws of the country and to be guided in all their actions by the interests of the people.

The anthems of the Republic of Bulgaria and of the European Union were then played in the plenary hall.
President Rumen Radev and Vice-President Iliana Iotova attended the oath-taking ceremony.
