Palmer Congratulates Hoover Air Force JROTC On Successful Competition Season

Washington, D.C.- Following the conclusion of Hoover High School's Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps' (JROTC) competition season, Representative Gary Palmer (AL-06) released the following statement:

"Congratulations to Hoover High School's Air Force JROTC on an outstanding competition season," said Rep. Palmer. "This season, the team brought home 50 trophies from competitions and placed in three events at Nationals. The team's hard work paid off, and they have made the city of Hoover proud. I look forward to seeing these students keep up the great work!"

Rep. Palmer concluded, "ROTC programs, like the one at Hoover High School, are dedicated towards developing students into upstanding citizens who value serving their country and communities. These programs are vital to our nation and our armed services. This is why I cosponsored Rep. Michael Waltz's bill, H.R. 7977, to support and preserve JROTC programs."
