Main Street - Additional Traffic and Parking Impacts

Beginning on Tuesday, April 9, private contract work will take place within the roadway of Main Street near Peekytoe Provisions. As such, their flaggers will be maintaining one-way alternating traffic between Hancock Street and Newton Way. Hospital emergency access is still utilizing Main Street (from Mount Desert Street) to Stanwood Place. This impact is expected on April 9 and 10^th only. Due to the Main Street Sewer, Water and Stormwater project also going on at this same time, through-traffic should continue to use the main detour route of Ledgelawn Avenue to Cromwell Harbor Road.
