On Friday, January 15, NOAA Fisheries will hold a media teleconference to discuss findings from a new report detailing the COVID-19 pandemic's early economic impact on the U.S. fishing and seafood sector.

The Updated Impact Assessment of the COVID-19 Crisis on the U.S. Commercial Seafood and Recreational For-Hire/Charter Industries January-July 2020 covers the first seven months of 2020 and provides data and information that may help businesses and communities tied to seafood assess losses and inform long-term resilience strategies.
