Albany County Public Works Department Issues Travel Advisory for SR 85 in Slingerlands

The Albany County Department of Public Works advises that starting tomorrow at 10am, alternating one-way traffic will be implemented on State Route 85 (New Scotland Road) between Kenwood Avenue and Mullens Road in Slingerlands. This will allow for the installation of the new sidewalk railing along SR 85 underneath the Rail Trail Bridge. The traffic pattern will be in place daily from 10am to 5pm through Friday, November 3. Flaggers will be stationed to guide motorists through the area. Due to weather delays, paving of the Rail Trail Bridge is now scheduled take place on November 6, and the bridge is now expected to be reopened to pedestrians on November 7.
