Digital conference in Lübeck „POSSEHL 4.X 2022“

More than 220 executives and experts from over 50 Possehl companies met in the summer for the fourth Possehl 4.X 2022 digital conference at the HF Group in Hamburg-Harburg. With its new headquarters, the Possehl company was the host for an event that was successful in every respect. This year's motto of the conference: Digitalization in Speed Dating!

The digital conference is a catalyst for the digital transformation of the Possehl Group and is now firmly established in the annual schedule. For two days, our digital clusters and group companies delved into joint workshops. As an umbrella organization, Possehl supports the group companies in their digital transformation: digitalization expertise from the holding company promotes and coordinates the group-wide exchange. Specialists and managers from all divisions work in cross-company working groups, our digital clusters.

After the opening by CEO Dr. Joachim Brenk, the Possehl Digital companies Possehl Analytics, Possehl Online Solutions and cluetec had the opportunity to present themselves and their services to the entire Group. The digital conference was organized and diversely moderated by the D-Team of the holding. This time, the focus was on speed dating workshops, in which each company was able to intensively discuss concrete projects and plans with each cluster thanks to good preparation. The first day was rounded off with a joint midsummer night BBQ in beautiful summer weather.

Well recovered, the second day was opened directly with a highlight: the EMIL award ceremony. The EMIL - named after Emil Possehl, the founder of the Possehl Foundation - honors special achievements of Possehl Group companies. This year's winners: Gabler Thermoform (Best Digital Product), manroland web Produktionsgesellschaft (Best Process Digitization), Cooksongold & Weston Beamor (Best Digital Business Model) as well as the Board Awards for BOWE (Most successful Turnaround) and HAKO (Most profitable Business Area). After further speed dating sessions and an introduction to the topic of low code by Possehl Digital, the business areas, clusters and the board were still able to exchange ideas in a proper setting.

In summary, the Digital Conference Possehl 4.X 2022 was a complete success for all participating companies and clusters, because directly afterwards, some newly agreed partnerships and resulting projects could already be started. The focus is now on using all the insights gained and transferring them to the strategic planning of the companies.
