Downtown Watsonville Specific Plan Wins Award from American Planning Association

Our Downtown Watsonville Specific Plan (DWSP) has received an Award of Excellence from the American Planning Association!

With the DWSP clinching the top spot for the Northern California Section level, it now qualifies to compete at the state level.

The DWSP will bring many benefits to help revitalize our downtown, including housing, retail entertainment, higher-density mixed-use residential projects, increased civic and cultural activities, pedestrian safety and comfort, and enhanced bicycle infrastructure.
