The RA Minister of Finance received the Head of the Yerevan Office of the EBRD

Today, the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan and Head of the Yerevan Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development George Akhalkatsi, signed Amendment No. 2 to the 'City Roads of Gyumri' loan agreement.

With the implemented change, the value of the loan agreement signed between the parties on May 11, 2016, has increased by 2.72 million euros. The additional loan funds, along with the existing loan and grant funds provided within the project framework, will be directed towards the modernization of the roads and street lighting systems in the 'Ani' and 'Austrian' districts of Gyumri.

Following the signing ceremony, the Minister of Finance of the RA and the Head of the EBRD Yerevan office engaged in a private conversation. During this discussion, they exchanged thoughts on projects implemented in Armenia with the support of the EBRD and those planned for the future.
