Janet Tomcavage, MSN, RN, Geisinger executive vice president and chief nurse executive will deliver the keynote address. Julie Byerley, MD, MPH, Geisinger chief academic officer and president of Geisinger College of Health Sciences will also address the graduates.
"We are excited to present our first ADN class with their well-deserved degrees," said Rebecca Stoudt, DNP, PhD, Geisinger associate dean of nursing student education. "The Class of 2024 will be ready to deliver 'uniquely Geisinger' care that emphasizes wellness and community accountability, wherever they may choose to practice - though we are pleased to note that many of our new graduates will remain at Geisinger. I am also proud that our school has taken an important step toward realizing our vision of creating a national model for rural, value-based care in Lewistown."
