TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Airport Road to Close for Bridge Work
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that Airport Road will be closed between the northbound I-95 off ramp and McArthur Drive, for work on the bridge over Nonsuch Creek, starting Monday, May 22nd and ending Friday, June 23rd. The ramp from northbound I-95 to Airport Road will remain open with access to Basin Road and the Hope Center. The hard closure will be south of the entrance to the Hope Center.
A detour will be in place for the duration of the project.
Use caution and expect minor delay in the area.
