NEWProducer price index in March 2024

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in March 2024 producer prices in industry:

• decreased by 0.7% compared to February 2024;

• decreased by 1.6% since the beginning of the current year and by 3.8% compared to March 2023.

In extractive industry, producer prices in March 2024 increased compared to February 2024 - by 2.4%, compared to December 2023 - by 5.9% and compared to March 2023 - by 6.2%.

In manufacturing industry, producer prices in March 2024 increased by 0.2% compared to February 2024, compared to December 2023 remained at the same level and compared to March 2023 decreased by 2.0%.

In the energy sector, producer prices in March 2024 decreased by 12.2% compared to February 2024, compared to December 2023 - by 19.2% and compared to March 2023 - by 24.2%.
