Guillermo Velarde has been appointed to lead the North American Wood Products Team at AFRY Management Consulting

AFRY Management Consulting announces that Guillermo Velarde will lead the Wood Products and Surfaces Team in North America.

As of September 1st, 2023, Guillermo Velarde has joined AFRY to lead the North American Wood Products and Surfaces team within its Management Consulting division. Guillermo has been appointed Principal Consultant at AFRY's New York office.

Guillermo will advise industry and financial clients in corporate strategy, product strategy, market analysis and due diligence projects. He brings with him over 15 years of experience in the industry, and his expertise includes composite panels, surfacing materials, engineered wood products, mass timber and flooring products.

Before joining AFRY in 2023, Guillermo held Manager and Director positions at Arclin USA, where he managed complex projects in product strategy, market growth, marketing, and corporate development. Guillermo has also held and will continue with different roles in industry trade associations to support and promote the entire industry and the market.
