ALBUQUERQUE, APRIL 27- Today, the Republican Party of New Mexico held its 2024 Quadrennial Convention at the Marriott Albuquerque Hotel in Up Town. The Convention was held for the purpose of electing delegates for the Republican National Convention to be held July 15th-18th, in Milwaukee, WI and to elect a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman to the RNC. Additionally, the 2024 Republican Presidential electors were announced.
Close to four hundred Republicans from across New Mexico were in attendance today including State Central Committee (SCC) Members, delegates and guests.
RPNM was honored to welcome Congressman Wesley Hunt (R-TX) as a guest speaker.
Thirty-seven candidates were self-nominated for the nineteen available delegate positions. Two candidates ran for National Committeewoman: Tina Dziuk, the incumbent, and Sarah Jane Allen. Jim Townsend ran for re-election as National Committeeman unopposed.
All votes were cast using paper ballots. After the ballots were hand-counted, these are the results:

The Republican Presidential Electors are selected by the State Republican Chairman and confirmed by the State Republican Executive Committee.
Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce gave the following statement:
"Our Quadrennial Convention was a success, and I am pleased with the outcome. Our National Committeeman, Jim Townsend, and Committeewoman, Tina Dziuk, are ready to advocate for our state's needs and make our voices heard within the RNC. We are sending a strong selection of delegates to be our voice at the Republican National Convention and unite behind our nominee. Once again today, New Mexicans showed their passionate enthusiasm for turning New Mexico red and getting our state and country off of the destructive path of Democrats."
