Upcoming lane restrictions on Reach Street and Sandford Road in Scugog and Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Reach Street and Sandford Road in the townships of Scugog and Uxbridge.

When: March 11 until mid-May. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Reach Street, between Highway 12/7 and Marsh Hill Road, in the Township of Scugog; and on Sandford Road, between Concession Road 2 and Concession Road 3, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Why: To safely replace the bridges over Nonquon River and Pefferlaw Creek.

Note: Future road closures will be required and details will be provided in advance.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
