8 Texas Acts Win 15 GRAMMYs at the 2023 Recording Academy GRAMMY Awards

Texas based/born (or raised) acts dominated among the nominated and winning acts at the 65th GRAMMY Awards last night in Los Angeles, CA. Houston-raised Lizzo took home Record of the Year Award for her release of About Damn Time.

Houston native Beyoncé made history this year, when her win for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance put her GRAMMY total at 32, the most wins of all time in the 65-year history of the GRAMMYs.

The 65th GRAMMY Awards recognized recordings released between October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022.
