Repair Work to Close Pear Lane Temporarily

FREDERICK, MD - Pear Lane will be closed for approximately two weeks, beginning on or about May 13. The closure will allow the Department of Highway Operations to remove and replace a deteriorated metal pipe culvert with a concrete box culvert, and to repair and resurface the pavement. The project is anticipated to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists are asked to follow the signed detour route, which uses Opossumtown Pike and Ford Road.
