UW Board of Trustees to Meet May 8-10

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will receive reports on a variety of topics during the board's regular meeting Wednesday-Friday, May 8-10.

The meeting will take place at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Public sessions of the board and its committees may be observed by the public at https://wyolinks.uwyo.edu/trusteesmay24/.

Committees of the board will meet Wednesday in several rooms of the Gateway Center, starting with the Facilities Contracting Committee at 8 a.m.

Thursday's meeting of the full board will begin at 8 a.m. with an executive session. The public session is expected to start at 9:30 a.m.

The board will accept public testimony on any topics at 10 a.m. Thursday -- an hour earlier than usual. Those wishing to offer verbal testimony should go to www.uwyo.edu/trustees/public-testimony/web_form.html to fill out the web form. The deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7.

At 7:15 a.m. Friday, the board is scheduled to participate in a topping-out ceremony at the site of UW's student housing and dining construction project along 15th Street.

Another executive session is scheduled at 8 a.m. Friday at the Gateway Center, with the board's business meeting from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Trustees will participate in UW's spring graduation and commencement activities Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.
