HDR’s Jamie Eichenberger Named 2021-22 WEF President

Jamie Eichenberger was named 2021-22 Water Environment Federation president during WEFTEC 2021, the organization's largest conference of the year.
WEF's governing Board of Trustees holds legal authority and fiduciary responsibilities on behalf of WEF and its membership. The board aims to fulfill WEF's strategic direction and critical objectives - to connect water professionals, enrich the expertise of water professionals, increase the awareness of the impact and value of water and provide a platform for water sector innovation.
In his role as president, Eichenberger will focus on developing a new strategic plan for WEF, continuing the commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, increasing the visibility and prestige of water resource recovery facilities and supporting infrastructure through a renewed focus on public outreach and strategic communication.
Eichenberger has been an active member of WEF since college. He has served on several WEF committees including the Finance, Government Affairs, Public Communications and Outreach, and Audit as well as on the board as treasurer, vice president and president-elect since 2017.
Eichenberger has also been extensively involved with his home member association, the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association, throughout his 16-year career. He has served as the Government Affairs Committee chair and past president for RMWEA.
