City Council To Recognize Group Working To Prevent Veteran Suicides
Nonprofit Group Offers Unique Outdoor Recreation Experiences
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize a local organization dedicated to preventing veteran suicides at the April 17, 2024, City Council meeting that will begin at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Ward 4 Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske will honor Forgotten Not Gone, a local nonprofit organization that provides veteran peer support, comradery and activities for veterans. In addition, the City Council will recognize the April 2024 Employee of the Month.
The meeting will be broadcast live on cable channel 2, and at www.kclv.tv/live.
Public comment will be available for items on the agenda until 5 p.m. April 16 at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/councilcomment.
