Dear friends,

It is with great pride and excitement, that we announce today, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the AUF Moyen Orient and with the support of Librairie Antoine and Assabil Association, the launching of our initiative: Your dream for Lebanon.

Although it might seem very unimportant, perhaps irrelevant in the current situation where Lebanese, experts and decision makers are thinking and talking about losses of tens of billions of dollars; where Lebanon was hit by massive emigration, one of the worst economic crisis in the world, unknown levels of poverty, what can be the use of dreams?

If the song states that Money makes the world go round, we believe that dreams make it go forward. Because dreams awaken hope which revives trust. And trust is what is presently lacking in Lebanon.

We call on our young generation to write about their dream of Lebanon. They are innocent of the faults of their parents, let them dream and together let us try to achieve their dreams.

We aim to announce the best short story on April 13, 2023. We hope it will wind / end up a nightmare that began 47 years ago, by our young generation dreams.
