LIC marks 20 years listed on the NZX

LIC's Board Chair Corrigan Sowman, Appointed Director Candace Kinser and Chief Financial Officer Brent Mealings marked the occasion by ringing the bell to signal markets opening at the NZX.

As a farmer-owned co-operative, LIC's profit is returned to its farmer shareholders in dividends, or reinvested for new solutions, research, and development.

LIC shareholders derive an income from dairy cows in New Zealand, supply a New Zealand milk processor and buy a minimum amount of qualifying products and services from LIC in any one year.

A key moment in LIC's history on the NZX was the Share Simplification change where LIC moved from having two classes of shares to a single class of Ordinary Shares.
