Summer Youth Basketball Returns

Tallahassee Police Athletic League accepting applications

June 16, 2021

The Tallahassee Police Athletic League is now accepting applications for the 2021 youth basketball summer league. It provides youth the opportunity to grow under the guidance of dedicated adults who assist them in developing self-esteem, skills and respect, both on the court and off. The program also helps youth develop an understanding of the role of law enforcement.

The season will run from July 12 to August 4. All games will be played at Jack McLean Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road, every Monday and Wednesday from 6-9 p.m.

The league is open to boys ages 10-15 and girls ages 10-12. The registration fee is $15. Registration forms can be downloaded by clicking this link. You can also pick up a registration form at the Tallahassee Police Department, located at 234 E. Seventh Avenue, or from Jack McLean Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road. All registrations forms and supporting documents must be returned to the Tallahassee Police Department, c/o the Police Athletic League, by June 30.
