WORKING VISIT OF THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF MALAYSIA

TO THE 28TH CONFERENCE OF PARTIES TO THE UNITED NATIONS

FRAMEWORK CONVENTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, 1-2 DECEMBER 2023

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, The Honourable Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, is undertaking a Working Visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 1 to 2 December 2023 in conjunction with the 28th Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

During his visit, The Honourable Minister will attend the launch of the Malaysian Pavilion and the ceremony of exchange of documents involving Malaysian companies and their counterparts, which will be graced by His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Yang di- Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah at the sidelines of COP28.

The Honourable Minister is also scheduled to attend the Summit of G77 and China Leaders on Climate Change with The Honourable Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change. While in Dubai, The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs will also meet with his counterparts from the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Ghana to exchange views on bilateral, regional and global issues of interest.
