City Council approves funding to build Senior Activity Center

05/03/2024 - Leander City Council on Thursday approved awarding an $8.8 million bid to Gameta Construction, dba DKC Construction Group, for construction of the Leander Senior Activity Center. Construction of the new center at 701 Municipal Drive is expected to begin in early summer 2024. The center should be completed in about eight months.

The Senior Activity Center will provide recreation and entertainment facilities for the active adults and seniors in Leander, including meals, exercise classes, games, art classes and other featured activities.
