Consideration of Boundary Line Agreement - Troy/Glen Carbon (5/6)

PUBLIC NOTICE

EXTENSION OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TROY AND THE VILLAGE OF GLEN CARBON ("BOUNDARY LINE AGREEMENT")

On May 6, 2024, at 6:15 p.m. at the Troy Municipal Building, 116 E. Market St., Troy, Illinois, the City Council of the City of Troy, Illinois, will consider adopting an ordinance approving and entering into an Extension of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement Between the City of Troy and the Village of Glen Carbon ("Boundary Line Agreement").

This Boundary Line Agreement sets forth the current and future annexation boundaries for the City of Troy and the Village of Glen Carbon with respect to lands that are located in the unincorporated areas between the two (2) municipalities. Interested citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions or make comments on the proposed Extension of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement before the ordinance is considered by the City Council.

Copies of the proposed Extension of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement are on file for public inspection in the Office of the City Clerk, Kim Thomas, 116 E. Market St., Troy, Illinois 62294.
