Faculty workshop: 'Making Friends with The Internal Review Board', Feb. 27
The UAA Graduate School will host the faculty workshop 'Making Friends with The Internal Review Board' on Feb. 27.
Faculty know the importance of the Internal Review Board (IRB) in approving a research protocol, yet misunderstandings of the scope and reach of the IRB can lead to frustration. This session will bring clarity to how the IRB functions, delineate its roles and responsibilities in facilitating research and offer ways to help faculty experience the IRB as a helpful support to their research.
Faculty are invited to discover workshop opportunities with UAA's Graduate School. These programs focus on a variety of topics designed with graduate-level educators in mind. Undergraduate faculty are also welcome to attend. A Zoom session will be available for those unable to join in person. More Graduate School events and information are available online.
