City Band Accepting Donations for 2024 Summer Concert Series
The Fort Madison City Band has been bringing entertainment to the Fort Madison community with their summer concert series since the 1930's. Fort Madison is one of the few communities in Iowa and the Midwest that is fortunate to still have a City Band and we hope this longstanding tradition will continue with assistance from the community.
The Fort Madison City Band is scheduled to provide music on four nights this summer:
June 2 June 16 July 4 July 14
In addition, with enough funding, we hope to provide opening entertainment opportunities. Without your assistance and sponsorship, we wouldn't be able to provide these events that have become such a wonderful staple in Fort Madison. Please know, any size sponsorship is much appreciated and will help bring enjoyment to the community!
Become a Premier Sponsor by donating $1,380 towards the 2024 Summer Concert Series. A Premier Sponsor will fund one City Band concert and will get your name or logo advertised (if you wish) at all the summer concerts in Central Park this season. Received donations will be allocated towards the City Band concerts first, unless otherwise specified. With the remaining funds, we will incorporate opening entertainment prior to the City Band performances.
Each concert and that concert's sponsors will be promoted through public service announcements in the newspaper, the City of Fort Madison's website, banners posted in the park, flyers posted throughout town and Facebook advertising.
