On April 20, 2024, at about 5:28 p.m., Troopers responded to a report of a dispute in a vehicle on Taborton Road in Petersburgh, NY. Troopers located the vehicle involved unoccupied near the intersection of Taborton Road and Kipple Road.

The investigation located the driver, who was identified as Burdick, at a nearby Petersburgh, NY home. Further investigation determined Burdick reportedly was operating the vehicle, without a valid driver's license, during a dispute and struck a passenger, causing them injury.
