Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is launching a new campaign to bring businesses or private donors together with local restaurants to help people who are experiencing homelessness.
Director of Development Sarah Ardis says the goal is to create a great partnership that will not only help people who desperately need food right now, but at the same time will help one of the hardest hit industries during the pandemic - restaurants and the people who work there.
The Sponsor a Meal Restaurant Program will allow our area businesses and private donors to connect with the local restaurants, commissioning them to prepare delicious meals to be served at the Mission. The program is meant to cover one or more complete meal needs (feeding between 75-120 guests).
