Military delegation attends 19th National Congress of Communist Youth League of China

BEIJING, June 18 -- The People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the People's Armed Police (PAP) delegation to the 19th National Congress of Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) was established on June 17.

The CYLC, an aid to and reserve force of the Communist Party of China (CPC), convenes its 19th national congress in Beijing from June 19 to 22, 2023.

The congress will hear and examine a report delivered by the 18th CYLC Central Committee, amend the CYLC Constitution and elect the 19th CYLC Central Committee. It will fully implement the guiding principles established at the 20th CPC National Congress and mobilize and guide CYLC members to strive in unity to build China into a modern socialist country in all respects and advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts, according to the Xinhua News Agency.

The delegation of the PLA and the PAP has 72 delegates, representing more than one million members of the CYLC in the PLA and PAP to attend the congress.
