Viox Recognized as Missouri Teacher Leader of Tomorrow by Missouri Milken Educators

Southeast Missouri State University alumnus Theoren Viox, of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, was recognized among the 2023 Missouri Teacher Leaders of Tomorrow by the Missouri Milken Educators.

The Missouri Milen Educators developed the program to recognize 10 teachers across the state. Viox will also be honored at the Missouri State Board of Education meeting on June 11 in Jefferson City.

All Missouri Teacher Leaders of Tomorrow inductees receive the benefits of one-on-one mentorship from Missouri Milken Leaders, who were all previously recognized by the Milken Family Foundation with the National Milken Educator Award for their impressive achievements. Honorees will have a year of coaching and mentorship and will be able to access the full network of the Missouri Milken Educators. The network serves as a rich resource for fellow educators dedicated to excellence in education. Viox and the other honorees learned they were selected for the designation in April.

Viox graduated from SEMO in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education in social studies. He is native of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and completed his student teaching in fall 2023 at the Ste. Genevieve School District.

Viox teaches social studies at Ste. Genevieve High School. He has interest in being a club or sport advisor, supporting his students both academically and in their extracurriculars. Viox is both an Apple and Google Certified Educator.
