Hoosier Riverwatch, Coffee Creek Preserve, Chesterton

Two Hoosier Riverwatch trainings are being sponsored by the DNR Lake Michigan Coastal Program, IDEM, and Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy. Basic training will be held on Monday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. central time, and advanced E. coli on Tuesday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Coffee Creek Preserve Pavilion. Parking is available on site. Classes are open to 15 participants each and once a class is full no more registrations will be taken. If you miss this session, don't worry! More classes will be offered throughout LaPorte, Porter, and Lake Counties between March and April 2024. All classes are FREE!

Important Information:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this class.
  • Basic training is open to anyone.
  • To take advanced training, you must have taken basic training previously. (You may take basic training on the 25 and do advanced training on the 26).
  • Please bring your own lunch
