SCU serves narcotics search warrant, find drugs and gun

SCU officers learned residents of a home in the 300 block of Lassen Street were selling and using fentanyl and methamphetamine. An SCU officer was granted a search warrant by a judge. At 4:05 p.m., on December 20, Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit served a narcotics search warrant in conjunction SWAT, Drone Team, Crisis Negotiation Team, and Lane County Parole and Probation.

During the search, officer located methamphetamine, fentanyl, a handgun, and other evidence of delivery of controlled substances. David Lee Essary Sr., age 53, and Dennis Finbar Driscoll, age 56, were both charged with Possession and Delivery of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl. Case 23-18796
