International applications: important change within the LUH application process

Leibniz University is changing its application process for applications from non-EU countries for the winter semester 2024/25. Whereas before, you had to apply at uni-assist, you now have to register at uni-assist in order to get apreliminary review documentation 'VPD'.

This means that international applicants must first apply for a VPD from uni-assist before the application period. With this VPD you can then apply directly to Leibniz University within the normal application periods.

Prospective students with a refugee background do not need a VPD.
