Traffic Advisory: Interim road closure on Kapa'a Quarry Road

Road closure on Kapa'a Quarry Road, from Mokapu Boulevard to a portion of Kapa'a Quarry Place.

KAILUA - The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) will partially close a portion of Kapa'a Quarry Road, from Mokapu Boulevard to a portion of Kapa'a Quarry Place, on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for restriping of the roadway and sign installations. Kapa'a Transfer Station will remain open, with access from Kalaniana'ole Highway. Message boards and signs have been posted and special duty Honolulu Police Department Officers will be posted at the work site to assist with traffic control.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible. If unable to avoid the area, allow for extra travel time and abide by special duty officers and posted traffic signs.
