Man Found Shot Dead in the Street

Granada Hills: Homicide Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Bureau are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a deadly shooting that killed a man.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024 around 4:05 p.m., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the area of Chatsworth Street and Encino Avenue. When the officers arrived, they located a victim; described as a male, Hispanic, around 52-years-old, on the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim's name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

There is no suspect information.
