Series offers Dive Bar Soul to Chicano Funk

Tickets for the Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series at Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park (801 S. Yarrow St.) go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 18. This year's schedule offers a diverse lineup of bands to get the crowd rockin' every Wednesday night from June 12 through July 31. This midweek escape to the outdoor amphitheater offers live music, food trucks, a beer garden and dramatic views of the mountains at sunset.
Season ticket packages, available while supplies last, offer all six concerts for just $50. Single tickets are $10 when purchased in advance. Gates open at 5 p.m.; the opening act performs at 6:15 p.m., and the headliner takes the stage at 7:15 p.m.
