Worldwide bike tour makes New Brunswick debut at Sugarloaf Provincial Park

Sugarloaf Provincial Park will be hosting the Crankworx Summer Series as part of the Adrenaline Bike Festival in August.

"We are so excited to bring an event of international caliber to Sugarloaf Provincial Park, where local mountain bike enthusiasts will have an opportunity to ride alongside professional athletes," said Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Tammy Scott-Wallace. "New Brunswick has a lot to offer, and this is a perfect event to showcase one of the best rated bike parks in Atlantic Canada."

Crankworx is a worldwide tour that presents a series of mountain bike festivals, bringing together the best athletes to compete in a variety of disciplines. They offer races and skills competitions for all ages and ability levels.

The event will be held from Aug. 16-18. The kick-off party featuring a Big Air Jump Jam event will be held in downtown Campbellton, while the other competitions will take place at Sugarloaf Provincial Park.

The Adrenaline Bike Festival will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. In 2023, the festival drew more than 7,000 visitors, spectators and competitors.
