Industrial Production Prices change rate was -5.0%

In October, Industrial Production Price Index (IPPI) year-on-year rate of change was -5.0%, up 0.2 percentage points from September. The Energy and the Intermediate Goods groupings played a significant role in this outcome, with variations of -14.8% and -6,0%, respectively.

Excluding the Energy grouping, the year-on-year variation was -1.9% (the same as in September).

The monthly variation of the aggregate index was -0.2% in October (-0.5% in the same month of 2022).
